AFTER bursting into the TV industry as a youth channel Craz-e presenter, and then blossoming on radio, bubbly deejay Pearl Modiadie is now set to leave Yfm.
She is to have her biggest presenting role yet, on SABC1, it was confirmed in a statement released by her manager Sean McCollet.
"I am so happy about my new venture," Modiadie said.
"Not only am I doing what I love, which is television hosting, I also get a chance to connect with my guests on another level and show people a different side that they perhaps would not have seen as yet."
She is due to present the music show, Zaziwa, which will air on Wednesday, and she describes as a "life-changing opportunity".
Modiadie was previously romantically linked to singing heart-throb Donald Moatshe of Over the Moon popularity, and has also featured in the e-tv soapie, Scandal, among other shows. - motaud@sowetan.co.za
