The first and only ‘African Global DJ Awards’ to be held on the 4th of May at the Sandton Convention Centre Johannesburg, South Africa, gives you the opportunity to vote for your favourite DJ.

The awards ceremony, which is now billed to be an annual affair, would focus on celebrating African DJs in all genre of music, both African and foreign, in a bid to let the world know that the art of DJ’ing is a respected craft with world-wide impact.

South Africa's Lerato kganyago and Ugandan rapper Navio will be hosting the much anticipated event that is organized by Africans for Africans to put this amazing continent at the forefront of entertainment.

The DJs are nominated in 16 categories including a category for best female DJ.

You can expect performances by Tear Gas, R2bees, Navio, Efya, Duncan Mighty, AKA, Ice Prince, Camp Mulla, Dj Oskido, Dj Aly and Fila, Dj Xclusive,  Dj JimmyJatt, Dj Tbo Touch, Dj Kess, Dj Black and a host of other acts to keep you entertained.

Fans can also expect opportunities to interact with their favourite DJs from around the world who have been nominated.
