Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger hold relationship crisis talks

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger have held relationship crisis after pictures emerged of her partying with Chris Brown.

Although Lewis and Nicole - who have had a tumultuous relationship were on a break at the time and both she and Chris have insisted they are just friends - Lewis flew to Los Angeles to hear Nicole's explanation and try to save their romance.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Splitting was his decision. He's got a lot on his plate at the moment. And her commitments on X Factor and his career were clashing over the last few months.

"When he saw the pictures of her with Chris, he flew off the handle. He wasn't happy at all -even though they were not together any more.

"Lewis wanted to hear [Nicole's explanation] for himself."

Chris and the glamorous 'X Factor' UK judge were spotted looking intimate and appeared to be locking lips at exclusive Los Angeles night spot Supperclub last month, but the pair insisted they were simply talking.

A spokesperson for Chris commented: "No story here. They were not kissing. They are friends and have been for years. They were talking at a club that was playing loud music."

Nicole's representative added: "I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing."
