Howzat! $1m for 45 minutes work

X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger couldn't turn down that sort of cash - and who could?!

Nicole Scherzinger was paid one million dollars for 45 minutes work.

The ‘X Factor’ judge was asked to play a gig at the Dubai World Trade Centre for Emirates NDB bank on Thursday (20.09.12) and the big money offer and first class plane tickets to and from the Middle East proved too difficult to refuse.

A source told The Sun newspaper:  “Even Nicole can’t turn down that sort of cash.

“It didn’t take too much time out of her schedule and she was flown in and out of Dubai in first class.

“It’s easy money.”

Nicole left the country on Friday (21.09.12) and flew back to Los Angeles to work on her latest album.

It’s not surprising Nicole jumped at the lucrative offer after it was recently claimed she is facing the axe from the UK ‘X Factor’ next season with Mel B set to replace her. Spice Girls singer Mel impressed viewers with her honest opinions when she was a guest judge during the audition stages but Nicole was given the permanent judging role alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.

Meanwhile, Tulisa Contostavlos has given herself four years to find a man to settle down with.

The ‘X Factor’ judge has been single since splitting from 'Skins'

actor Jack O'Connell earlier this year but wants to find her soul mate and have children by the time she turns 28.

She told The Sun newspaper: “I spend most of my life being tough, but there is a downside — a lot of people think I’m a bitch. I’m not. Now and again I’ll shut myself away and cry.

“I really want to have kids — though not until I’m around 28 because I want to be with a man I’m going to stay with.”

Tulisa, 24, recently admitted she would love to have a boyfriend, if only men didn't find her so threatening.

She said: "There's nowhere for me to meet anyone.

"Men are scared of me and won't approach me.

"Even if I like someone and I'm fluttering my eyelashes, they still run a mile. So I wouldn't have dates if I didn't approach people.

"That's why I go for really tough lads because only they can handle it."
