Ok reverend why did you not make it clear from the on set that you are not going to pay the choir because they are not famous and they are new to the industry, but they will be paid when they are booked for shows!!! You are paying Lundi because he is not new to the industry and he is a crowd puller and they (the choir) are not. Bad planning and poor communication kills projects!!

How do you pay people to promote themselves that is pure madness, part of the contracts is that you avail yourself for promotions either in Malls or festivals or anywhere for free. It doesnt mean all artists performing at the concerts or festivals get paid. If ur new or unknown its the platform u must use to promote yourself free of charge

As Tshepo said, people dont understand how the music industry works.

This article leaves much to be desired bearing in mind it involves the Church choir and a Priest. Hanging their dirty linen in public.Where money is involved there`s a lot of hypocrisy. A man of robe went on to delete the whole music that might have taken ages and a lot of resources to compile. I have always thought Gospel singers are sons and daughters of the lord Jesus and they are community role models as they always lead by example. After reading this article I am completely lost and confused.
Why do you need a crowd puller when launching a church choir disc? To me this is all about money.If it was about preaching and spreading the word of god, really we shouldn't `t be reading about this greedy article.

There is nothing wrong with churches my brother but the individuals, look at the churches like IPCC and others, they have successful church choirs and the Reverand was trying to do the same for his church.

There are some elemets within the church who wanted to sabotage the whole projects. Some of the people dont want to see progress or developments

The ministry of song is not about the singer or choir. It should bring praise, glory and honour to the Almighty God. For He is the one who has given us the singing talent by creating in us the vocal chords which co-ordinates with the heartbeat and mind to create the melody by blowing air through our vocals chords and ability to transcribe the sound with our tongue and mouths. A lot of people have lost the plot and some don't even know what is the meaning of the word Gospel, they think this is all about entertainment and making money whereas it's all about preaching the Good News about Lord Jesus Christ.
