FORMER presenter of SABC 1's Live Bonang Matheba, who hosted her last show at the end of last month, says she will be more than just a presenter of the new show she will be anchoring.

Matheba, who presented her final Live show on August 31, said she is staying with the public broadcaster.

Matheba says the new show, which starts on November on SABC 1, will be a lifestyle show featuring music events, parties, fashion show and red carpet events.

Matheba says she will also provide creative input in the production of the show.

"I am not just going to be a presenter, I will be part of the creative side as well.

"I will introduce two other presenters as the show grows," she said.

She said that the show has not been given a title yet and will be aired during the week in a prime-time slot.

SABC1 publicity head Vukile Madlala confirmed that the station was working on a new show with Matheba, but refused to elaborate.

She denied rumours that she is already back in the arms of radio and club jock, Euphonik, who allegedly assaulted her.

"I still do not have a man. It is not true that I am back with Euphonik, but we are on talking terms.

"We are in the same industry. I cannot afford to make enemies at this time," she said.

The 25-year-old - who has laid charges against Euphonik, (real name Themba Nkosi) for allegedly assaulting her and destroying her phone and laptop - said she had put her love life on hold to concentrate on new projects she has lined up.

Matheba says she will also launch a new fragrance and a new handbag range in November.
