KAMINAKAWENA

Well to Zahara hip hip hoooray for beeing the country's most well spoken songtress. as a music analyst, i would argue with girlfriend musically when she says Bulelwa Mkutukana's songs are ''soulful'' and her genre is not according to my music background and knowlegde and also as a fan. the only difference between zahara and you galfriend is she plays a guitar and the concept tk nciza and my coleaque sbuda used. the genre they produced for her sells and also the marketing strategy worked and i aplause them for that but Bulelwa Mkutukana as an individual is not an inhouse brand as we musically categorise it despite her fame and all the samas she took home that is why now they are taking more than the contract agreed period to realese her second album. why? because zaharas musical life was groomed in church where they sing hurms and also that her guitar skills are just minimal like burgers in the street(no offence) and also her image will never strike any endorsement deals; which is not really a big deal though. the only alternative to push Bulelwa Mkutukana beyond her current status as an artist will be to make her a brand and if it means a make over and a boob job then let it be so and that is the only way she can touch more souls like myself and the rest of you. i love her trust me i wud date her and love her now but i am afraid her next album might not be as adequate as her debut 1. we need another sing along hit babe

KAMINAKAWENA - Well, dude im no musical analyst whatsoever but I know for sure that this gal is talented and whenever I listen to her music ,I feel touched, hence I said it was soulful. How you interpret soulful,well..........

Why are you being so negative though? I actully like her guitar skills, she would put some proffessional guitarists to shame. And the fact that she taught herself to pkay the guitar that is applausable!

No need for a makeover and boob job, her talent speaks for itself ! I disagree with you she has an element of longevity in her ,she is raw, unique and oozes lots and lots of talent. Not only loliwe was a hit song in her album, that shows ukuthi she is a talented song writer and her next album will be just as successful if not better! But then again ,you are the pro,im just a fan :)

KAMINA, Heish! bantu, if do not have anything nice to say shut up! Zahara every black person not model C's but their parents came from that life. we know exactly what you say, you are not the first family nor the last its a path for most of black people. If you did not travel it, "be scared, very scared" awukabi strong to face life. It teaches you UBUNTU, and know to aproach ADULTS, and your limits when talking.

Are they paying her now, I mean is Sbu and the like giving her share now, it was sad to hear that they dont pay her well. Take care of your voice, it is your talent, don't just give it away and be carefull of human shacks, they will milk you dry, before you know it, you are out and dry.

If she so much remembers how life was growing up n how tough it was then the first thing she would've done after making those moola's would've have been to go n build her parents a proper house and not feed aboNciza noba Leope with her God given talent.

Zahara your music sound much older than you!!! Thank you for writing quality inspirational music. KAMINAKAWENA pity if people in the industry think like you and you forget one of Zahara selling points is her simplicity, that most people can relate to who she is, wena just go to idols to create your super-star.
