NINE Nobel Peace Prize winners are speaking out against a new NBC competition series they say treats military manoeuvres like athletic events.
Preparing for war is neither amusing nor entertaining
Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the other laureates say the show Stars Earn Stripes glorifies war and violence.
The TV series pairs celebrity participants with US military personnel for simulated warfare.
The laureates say "preparing for war is neither amusing nor entertaining" and urge NBC to stop the series.
