The Black Eyed Peas member was furious when he discovered his expensive vehicle had been taken while he was attending his album launch party in Los Angeles.

However after sending out an appeal on twitter, it has now been discovered and is in the process of being returned to him.

Founder and CEO of The World Famous West Coast Customs Ryan Friedlinghaus tweeted to will.i.am that he had good news.

He wrote: "@iamwill WE FOUND IT!!!! Thanks to #TECHNOLOGY ..... It's safe and on its way back to @officialwcc Headquarters!!! #HARDWORKDEDICATION," Friedlinghaus wrote.

will.i.am tweeted back: "@SelfMadeRyan my car has been found...#bestnewsever thank you so much ryan..."

The Los Angeles Police Department told E! News that they hadn't come across a missing vehicle report from him.

Following the event which he attended with Nicole Scherzinger, he went on an expletive-filled tirade.

He tweeted: "Where is my f***ing car ... ??? This isn't funny anymore. (sic)"

After calming down, he took to the social networking site again and wrote: "I'm going to be optimistic and pray that my car is returned and is safe."

Fans responded to his angry tweets with kind words such as: "u don't deserve this (sic)" and "You will find it".

i hate those customised bumpers, i dont know why people put those in a car, it makes it look ugly.....
people, if you customise your car, go for simple.....thereby retaining the beuaty of the car.....not this rubbish William has done to his car.....

anyway if it was here in SA, that car would be in pieces in some scrap yard......

@Tabza325, yea i remember the EXA......my problem is with these bumper and the skirts they go with, they in my view they mess up the car

dont get me wrong the car itself, is nice, its just the bumper and its skirts......i dont know what car it is, but i nearly mistaken it for a Alfa Romeo GTV 6 25, just because of the skirts.....
