The rapper showed support for the music artist when asked what he thought about his recently confession to writing song about his former male partner.

He said: "Anyone that has an issue with Frank Ocean is an idiot, I think. I think Frank Ocean is a talented artist who has created material that's made me know his name, that impressed me, with things he said on a song like 'Novacane'."

50 Cent went on to compare Frank with R&B singer, Luther Vandross, who is thought to have died without disclosing his sexuality, but many people in the industry allegedly knew he was gay.

He continued to MTV: "To say you don't like Frank Ocean is to say you don't like Luther Vandross. Or maybe you don't like Kenny Green.”

He added: “There have been artist before him that have made these choice, just not the choice to expose it to the general public before an actual release. It could be revolutionary or it could be a tragedy."
