Big Brother Africa mate fires salvo over gossip
GOSSIP has started in Big Brother Africa 7's Downville House, where the non-celeb contestants are staying.
Late at night the girls had a confrontational moment when they shared their views about each other.
An upset Hilda of Tanzania was disappointed that Zambian Tamara is gossiping about her. This led to Hilda exclaiming that she was not "here" to make friends.
She fired a verbal salvo: "I am not here for friendships, and from now onwards I will just keep to myself."
The Botswana sisters, Edith and Eve, were irritated by the "petty" argument, and stated that no one entered the game to groom "each other".
Eve said: "No one in this game is here to mould any other housemate. Let the gossiping stop."
But there seems to be love brewing in the Downville House between Uganda's Jannette Lutaaya and Wati from Malawi. Siera Leone's Zainab seems set for war. She has declared - in not so many words, mostly unprintable in a family newspaper - that no one should mess with her.
Meanwhile, in the Upville House, where the celebs stay, all was quiet, which was an anticlimax to the high note the stars had set, with SA's Barbz (aka Babalwa Mneno) topping the list of drama queens.
