Usher delivers a real party

THOUSANDS of screams, stylish outfits, an energetic performance and a full band all crammed into two hours of action..

This is the thrilling experience revellers enjoyed on Saturday when R&B sensation Usher Raymond entertained them at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg.

Usher rolled on to the stage in style with lightning, thunder and visual effects.

Wearing a black-and-gold Robocop outfit, Usher delivered his repertoire with gusto.

More than 25,000 people who attended the show could not stop screaming his name - especially women.

The Grammy Award-winning singer strutted, danced, swaggered, and ran across the stage to the applause of an enraptured audience.

The R&B heart-throb sent his female fans into a frenzy when he took off his top, showing off a muscular torso with a glistening six-pack.

Usher changed outfits every time he sang a new song.

Sinenhlanhla Magangane from Durban said she did not regret a moment of being at Usher's concert.

"This guy is so yummy and happening for real," she said.

Though the rain nearly ruined the party, those who attended had fun.

Proceedings for the event started at 2pm, with developing bands performing.

After 5pm musicians such Gang of Instrumental, Teargas and Liquideep started the real concert.

It was Zakes Batwini who shook the audience with songs such as Bum-Bum and Don't Waste My time.
