AWARD-WINNING kwaito singer Professor Langa will headline the Securex Soweto Siyabangena Concert taking place at Godfrey Moloi grounds in Mapetla tomorrow.

Langa, who is also nominated for this year's South African Music Awards, shot into prominence in 2010 when he released his solo album, Jezebel.

The funky, hip and happening album featured hit singles such as Imotw'entshontshimali, Lento featuring Speedy Matlhaku and Jezebel.

The three songs took off like a wildfire from December 2010 until last year.

Langa won four statuettes at last year's Samas.

This year he got only one nomination for Lento in the record of the year category.

Langa will share the stage with deejays such as Mgedeza and Fresca.

The Securex Siyabangena Soweto initiative began on February 25 at Emndeni in Soweto.

Last week, Siyabangena was at Dr Mary Sports Grounds in Dobsonville, where Winnie Khumalo and Character were performing.

The brand manager of Bliss Chemicals, Nasiha Patel, said: "In promoting Securex anti-germ soap, we have invited musicians such Zahara, Professor, Character, Dr Malinga and others to be part of theconcerts."

lNo tickets will be sold at the gate. Entry is exclusive to wristband holders which will be different for each event.

These wristbands can be obtained at ticketing points by producing 3 Securex Soap bars and any MAQ product.

Tickets will only be issued three days before the event at the respective venues.
