THE old adage that there is light at the end of the tunnel has been proven to be true with Lebo Mothibe. The hip-hop rapper, who goes by the moniker Shugasmakx, has found a new love.

Following his painful break-up with former model, Eastern Cape's Chwayita Mtose, the co-founder and star of iconic hip-hop outfit Skwatta Kamp is now in the loving arms of Linda Zungu.

Zungu, 25, of Gallo Manor in Jozi, is a chartered accountant at Nedbank.

Mothibe was dumped by Mtose for award-winning DJ Black Coffee. The two, who have a baby boy, have since separated and DJ Black Coffee is now engaged to actress Mbali Mlotshwa.

Mothibe said he knew Zungu years before he met Mtose. "I used to see her with friends but did not have an interest in her then because I was with Chwayita.

"I only proposed love to her when it was clear that things were not going to work between Chwayita and myself," Mothibe said.

The two lovebirds, who have been avoiding the media, were seen holding hands and caressing each other while attending the launch of Montecasino's Smoking Casino on Wednesday.

"We have been dating for a while now. I am very happy with her.

"I love her so much. She is a beautiful, decent and intelligent woman. We are planning to get married soon."

Asked about Mtose, he said he had closed that chapter in his life. "I do not want to talk about her. I have a new woman in my life now. I am concentrating on building a future with her. That is what is important to me right now," Mothibe said.

Mtose refused to comment.
