In an interview last year with Rap-Up Magazine, he talked about what the film means to him, saying:

“My motivation for the project was my best friend, Charles Pringle. He lived across the street from me; he actually died of cancer”.

MTV reports that 50 Cent will be hitting cinema screens in a few other films in 2011, including Setup alongside Bruce Willis and Ryan Phillippe, and Vengeance starring Danny Trejo - while also finishing off his forthcoming Black Magic album.

The South African release date is not yet clear, eish!
