Dandala to hit big screen in Eternity

TALENTED actor Hlomla Dandala has landed a role in a new vampire movie that will hit the big screen in the country soon. The movie, the theme of which is love, is called Eternity.

It also features model Christina Storm, Ian Roberts, David James, and Brumilda van Rensburg. Eternity will be released on December 24.

The film's soundtrack features Prime Circle's Breathing, the single from the band's new album Jekyll and Hyde, which went straight to number one on several SA stations in its first week of play.

Vampires have fuelled the imagination of the literary and cinematic world more than any other fictional creature.

"These mythological, undead beings subsist by feeding on the blood of living creatures. Whether they terrify, entrance or court their victims, they are always on the prowl and now they have come to our shores," producer of the film Anton Ernst said.

Set in an atmospherically Gotham-like inner-city Johannesburg, Eternity tells the tale of Billy (André Frauenstein), a sensitive, handsome young vampire who spends his nights prowling with his friends.

They appear to lead a charmed life, owning the night and taking part in the rich social life the city offers.
