FOR all his declared intention of getting Khanyi Mbau out of his life, sugar daddy businessman Theunis Crous this week rocked up at the announcement of the Metro FM Awards finalists with a Mbau lookalike on Tuesday night.

The two arrived hand in hand at the Hush nightclub in Rosebank, followed by an entourage just a few minutes before the event ended.

The mysterious woman, who is in her early 20s, was up to the task. Throughout the night, like Mbau, she kept on rolling her eyes and posing for cameras as the old man looked on in admiration.

She sported Mbau's hairstyle, a skimpy white dress and was staggering in stilettos.

Asked if she was his girlfriend, she referred us to Crous.

Crous, who declined to reveal the name of the woman, said she was one of his artists.

"I am starting a recording company. She is one of my artists. You will see me attending functions with a lot of girls like her. It does not mean I am dating them."

Asked about Mbau, he said he did not want to talk "about that woman".

"I am a happily married man. The things you are writing about me are hurting my wife. If I see a story about me in the papers again I will report you to the press ombudsman."
