James Franco masturbates "four or five times a day"
The Hollywood actor says he pleasures himself so often because he is alone a lot.
He has been in a relationship with actress Ahna O'Reilly since 2006. But, he says, "I spend a fair amount of time alone, especially when I travel for work or whatever. I'm in hotels a lot for a lot of my life".
"So, when I’m alone, I do masturbate a lot. I don't know why. It's like you have those days where it's just like, I have a ton of writing to do, or a ton of reading to do, and you're just like, OK, I'm going to be on the couch all day or in bed all day just doing that… I tend to have a four- or five-time day."
James who plays Aron Ralston - the mountain climber who became famous after being forced to amputate his own arm when it became trapped under a boulder - in new movie '127 hours' depicts the climber as resorting to masturbation during his ordeal.
Speaking about why the climber never talked about it, he told website Hollywoodreporter.com: "He's kind of a gentleman, I guess he doesn't talk about that stuff. I think he also didn't want his mom to read it".
However 32-year-old James revealed he has no reservations about it.
