They are two of 65 DJs in the line-up of the DJ Mahoota and Pepsi Spring Day Music Explosion. The 16-hour bash promises everything from fun to entertainment.

Some of the DJs in the line-up are Christos, Black Coffee, Vinny, Oskido, Fistaz Mixwell, Kent and Clock .

Performers include Winnie Khumalo, Big Nuz, Thebe, Alaska, Spikiri, L'vovo, Teargas, Skwatta Kamp, Khuli Chana, Pro, Maggz, Deep Level, L-Tido and JR.

For the first time this year there will be a hip-hop stage to accommodate the huge line-up in line with making the experience exceptional and different.

Mahoota, whose real name is Zayne Sibika, said: "This has now become the way to celebrate spring for many young South Africans dancing to the same tune.

"We always make sure that when you attend our event you return the following year."

Nkululeko Mdlongwa, who is known as DJ Pepsi, said the hip-hop stage was testament to their efforts and dedication to always make this a different experience worth talking about every time.

The Spring Day Music Explosion is also spreading to other provinces.

On September 11 the bash will be rocking Loch Logan in Bloemfontein, Free State.

It will then move to Raging Bull in Polokwane, Limpopo, on September 18.

On September 24 it moves to City Jive in Rustenburg, North West.

The event ends at Ground Zero in Mpumalanga on September 25.

The 1st venue was Kyalami race track...ha ha ha. Wrong crowd for the bling country estate...They know Kasie people won't complain about noise n gun shots, even if the community complains the police will be nowhere to be found. So sad.

Nasrec would still fare better than the previous ones at Wemmer Pan. Chaotic to say the least. Since the Soweto Beach Festival I've stopped attending because of the rape and murders that take place due to no security.
