If you have been frequenting dating websites without luck the new M-net series reality show, Rivals in Romance, is the show that will end your curse.
The new chic and sassy singles dating reality show will be flighted from January 2011.
Presented by former Generations actress Phuthi Khomo, the show will take viewers into the modern dating world as people struggle to get their Mr and Miss right while avoiding elimination.
M-Net Series channel head Khosi Khanyile says the search is on to find contestants for this fun-filled reality love story that will play itself out over 13 episodes.
Eligible bachelors who are ready to flaunt their charms and single ladies who know how to bedazzle the opposite sex should enter immediately.
Rivals in Romance executive producer Shaamila Fataar says: "Applicants have to be at least 21 by the end of August. They should be citizens of the Republic of South Africa, with proof that they can legally live and work in the country."
Fataar adds that they are looking for smart, sophisticated, outgoing people who are hungry for love and willing to take risks in pursuit of a long-term relationship.
M-Net Series has previously aired international shows such as The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, which turned out to be favourites of the people.
It was after a good response that the channel realised that many people were in need of love and such shows. Rivals in Romance is the channel's very first original reality show format.
"International reality dating shows have become an institution on the channel. We have spent months developing the concept to ensure it is perfect for our target audience. Now all we need are the contestants," says Khanyile.
The closing date for entries is September 6 and entry forms are available on the channel's website or SMS their name and e-mail address to 34086.

Truth be told none of this TV/RADIO Marriage stuff has ever succeeded.Marriage supposed to be your choice not someone(Human beings) deciding on your behalf who best suits you.Best advise pray for a husband or wife and God will give your request. And though challenges will occur God will always oversee the success of that marriage(Jer29:11For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future)Report Abuse
