On September 27, the rapper's 28th birthday, his manager will release an extended-play single called "I'm Not a Human Being".

Cortez Bryant told Vibe.com that the digital release will feature new material and preview "The Carter IV", his full-length follow-up to the February release "Rebirth".

"We just gonna put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas," Bryant said. "Give 'em a hard copy later for fan appreciation."

Lil Wayne has been serving out his one-year prison sentence at New York City's Rikers Island since March, after pleading guilty to attempted possession of a weapon in connection with a gun found on his tour bus after a 2007 New York concert.
