i am all for the right of woman to chose but the one thing that makes me to be against this abortion is that, if i as a man am not ready for the child and i make it known, the woman can still have that child and tell me to be pert of it. and on the other hand if i want to have a child the woman can still decide not to have that child and abort because its her decision. i really feel that this is unfair on us men.

I think you have a valid point.
If he wants the baby then why not let him take it and raise it as a single parent. If she wants the baby then let her do the same. I don't, however, believe that the other party then has no responsibility to ensure that the baby is financially looked after. Its not the kid's choice so they should not be made to suffer for it

@ maneater &

you are spot on brother.

@Momma c i am a woman but am still against this practice mainly because of my spiritual beliefs which i will not bother to explain. but also because i beleive this is just an easy way out that we choose to take after messing up. i once talked one of my friends out of that decision and 7 years latter she has realised the purpose of that child in her life and also my room mate at varsity had an abortion and a month after that i could not sleep in my bed as she had a guy sleeep in, it just went to show that she has not learned anything. life throws us all kinds of curveballs the strength of a woman is determined by how you able to hadle those difficult moments in our lives. But i have to say this is just my oppinion people should do what they want/ beleive but my self i do not think its right.

I respect that decision completely. I could never, personally, have an abortion but that has nothing to do with religion but rather a deep maternal instinct. I also will not condemn any woman who feels that having an abortion is best for her. I'd rather see a woman in an abortion clinic than see a baby which is unloved and uncared for.

During the 1970's and 1980's I saw women diie from back street abortions. I saw babies born with severe mental and physical defects due to botched abortions. It was really nasty some of the things these backstreet butchers did to these women. The DIY attempts at abortion were even more heart breaking. You have no idea what it is like to watch a young woman diie from a knitting needle puncture to the womb. THAT is why I am an advocate for legal abortion. Making it illegal does't stop it - it simply makes our sisters the victims

You made valid points broer. My ex did abort my baby without my consent & after she told me that she aborted I ended the relationship because i had every right for that baby as I impragnated her but she terminated that pregnancy as if she had sole responsibility for that pregnancy.

Well, most of them are carrying grave yards in their stomachs because they can close their legs. Which Freedom Of Choice are you talking about? Because the first freedom should be condomise or close your legs before we even arrive and backstreet doctors.

You are your own doing and I despise tombstone dragging women and black women are topping the charts.

Abortion is a sacrifice at the alter of the devil. If only people knew the effect of it on us a nation spiritually. Lord forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

Are they upset about the death of the babies, or the occasional mother that goes along? What's the big deal? Almost all of the babies are black anyway These babies need education so they can know that their little life is going nowhere because they are going to be dead at their mother's hands.

This is something that should not have been legalised as it is so wrong to k.ill an innocent human being. The message that needed to be sent out was to protect rather than find a solution in k.illing. Both men and women need to protect themselves, for not just unwanted pregnancies but diseases as well.
We are finding right in so many wrongs and we wonder why the country is going down the drain with no respect for human life.
