It must be enforced, that's the only way to transform the industry
You will also force the business/company to close.
Yes you are quite right, people like you will close
you cant make money forcing people in positions they're not qualified for. Give them opportunity to get experience over years then they will be the best and competent.
Please Viscount am not talking qualifications, unqualified and inexperienced. There are qualified and experienced people yet companies don't transform. Stop with lousy excuses and transform. We and you also know that inexperienced whites in the olden and dark days of apartheid were trained by blacks just to become managers. Again I am not talking repeating same mistakes of whites or seeking revenge. Just don't make excuses where there non, just transform period
Yes! These white people can’t just come and start businesses in SA and do what they want! They must give some of it to the rest of us. Just because we don’t start big businesses doesn't mean we shouldn't benefit from it.
Its not about race or apartheid or getting everything for free which is black tendencies. I am saying why transform if there are people already educated/experienced and qualified! Start your own business and have your own rules, you cant tell someone else what he must do and not do with his business
Viscount, your problem is that you are trying to be logical. You need to let go of that.
Your statement doesnt make sense.
hehe, sorry :-)
Remember you have benefited unfairly (economically, educationally etc) because of apartheid. Even today you still reap the fruits of apartheid which its base was on race. By the way apartheid taught you that you are superior than blacks hence you concluded in your myopic mind that blacks want freebies. And yes if that's the case, blame it on apartheid and whites because you indirectly created that environment and mentality amongst blacks. You are the masters remember, now don't stop blaming poor blacks if they want freebies.
I don't agree but i understand your point. I am actually still young so I didn't really benefit but i am denied a lot of opportunities because of apartheid. I payed for my own studies because no bursaries was available which was/could have been given to less deserving people of race. The statement of you stating my myopic mind was actually proven by GUnit2 in a reply on your comment. I am only the master of my house and future. I don't appreciate you making statements saying whites are masters its like me saying blacks are savages. I think deep down inside you know that no transformation will help you if you don't take charge of your own destiny.
Yes masters because blacks never created apartheid and I think you don't need to be reminded that blacks fought against it. They wanted equality, fairness. Therefore transformation its a base for everything including taking charge for own destiny. Blacks were never on the same par with whites in all facets of life and expecting fair competition between the two its nonsensical.
Then Black are savages?(not that I think that). Now everybody has 20 years of equality and fairness and everyday I see at my place of work there are plenty full SELF EMPOWERED BLACK better than me taking they're destinies in they're own hands and working together without feeling sorry for themselves and not always wanting wanting wanting.... Do something for yourself and stop being a slave to the wrongdoings of apartheid.
20 years of equality yet private sector still refuse to transform. In your eyes its equality whilst to me it may say 20 years of efforts to bring equality. No one is feeling sorry for him/herself but fight for what is right i.e. transformation. Just do a simple analysis - just say 20 years of equality (according to you) versus no of years of apartheid = ???. It will then tell if its really practical to address social ills created by (no of years) apartheid in just mere 20 years. That's my closing remarks on this matter my dear.
its because you want want want....... everything for free.
In 100 years time you are going to have the same argument.
